Why Nuclear?

Canada will need to triple its power production level over the next 30 years. Nuclear has a large part to play in that. Clean, low-carbon nuclear power has the lasting potential to break the world’s reliance on less sustainable alternatives and has the capacity to generate consistent sources of baseline power, which intermittent renewable sources can’t.

The growing demand for baseline power production has a massive impact (and opportunity) on employment. AtkinsRéalis relies on a specialized workforce that’s drastically growing to serve critical projects across Canada and export to the world. We are committed to building the talent required to execute industry needs.

In our Nuclear Team, you would be part of the team that:

  • Works with the latest technologies
  • Creates more sustainable energy solutions
  • Collaborates with over 3,000 skilled experts
  • Delivers end-to-end project solutions and supports all stages of the asset lifecycle

Employment Conditions:

  • Internships are coordinated by OG7GES
  • 37.5 hours per week with flexible start times.
  • Hybrid work conditions – 3 days in office and 2 days from home
  • Condition of hire- pass Candu security clearance.
  • 1 hour per month of mentoring from OG7GES

What’s in it for you?

  • The opportunity to work on a major project;

  • Paid internship; and
  • An exciting work environment focused on health and safety.
