A five-day foundational course perfect for introducing students to the world of environmental monitoring. Students learn core environmental field skills, and this course can also be applied as credit toward the full certificate program.

- Operate essential equipment: Elson tape, clinometers, and compasses

A comprehensive 15-day program designed to fully qualify participants as environmental field technicians. Graduates are equipped with the expertise to assist in professional monitoring and environmental assessments.
Your students will learn how to:
- Conduct environmental assessments for air, water, vegetation, and wildlife
- Operate and maintain environmental field equipment
- Implement erosion control, fish salvage, and site rehabilitation
- Utilize advanced navigation and environmental data-recording techniques
