About NRTG

We lead with empathy and kindness in everything we do to create an environment where students, instructors, and employees feel valued, supported, safe, and engaged.

What We Do

We provide professional development training programs across multiple environmental industries, ensuring students gain hands-on practical knowledge and well-rounded skill sets to achieve successful and rewarding careers in natural resources. Our programs continuously evolve and improve through feedback and trial and error, demonstrating our commitment to excellence. Our ongoing review process ensures that our training programs stay current, effective, and responsive to evolving environmental needs and industry standards.

To make a positive impact on the world, one student at a time.

At NRTG, our purpose goes beyond training. We aim to empower individuals and communities, contributing to the wellbeing of the planet. Our students and their communities inspire broader environmental change. By equipping them with the skills and mindset to protect the environment and natural resources, we aim to create a larger impact on environmental sustainability.

We aim to transform education worldwide.

Traditional education is often based on “facts” and paradigms, driven by authority and a one-way process from teachers to students. We do something different. We teach effectively, but with a foundation of caring and empathy for the student. We build confidence, inspire dreams, and work with students to turn their dreams into reality. Teaching is a tool to achieve these greater ends. We measure our success by how profoundly we influence our students, not by merely making them ‘smarter’.

Our approach to teaching is needed globally. We replace the stale and unengaging “knowledge-based” approach with a more humanistic, student-focused way of teaching. We believe in our students. We change lives not through our content (easily available online) but through our care for other humans.
