About Your Role

NRTG is recruiting instructors to teach our industry-leading backpack Electrofishing Certification course throughout Canada with a focus on southwest British Columbia. We are interested in working with individuals that have the following traits and abilities:

Required

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in backpack electrofishing. 
  • Current First Aid with CPR.  
  • Own or have access to necessary field equipment, including: electrofishing unit with anode and cathode, dip nets, linesman gloves, recovery bucket, and first aid kit. 
  • Passionate, patient, a ‘people person’. 
  • A team player. 

Preferred

  • Electrofishing Certification with Crew Supervisor Status  
  • An experienced teacher, mentor, or industry leader.

This role is a part-time, contract position that has flexible commitment levels, as we will work with you to accommodate your existing and future workload.
