Indigenous Programs Open House – January 29th, 2026

Discover NRTG training programs that can help build capacity and accomplish environmental work within Indigenous territories. The concerns, issues, and stakes vary a great deal among territories and so solutions, and training, must also reflect those differences. A commonality among Indigenous communities is the deep respect and reverence for the lands and waters they steward. NRTG believes in starting from that deep respect and determining how to address environmental concerns with that always in mind.

We will discuss of the value of this training and how it may benefit yourself, your organization, or your community. The focus is to assist you in this open house so please bring specific questions you may have regarding Indigenous Programs and how this may assist in capacity building within your community.

NRTG courses will be used to anchor discussions, and we hope to move beyond those to hear some of the environmental challenges individuals and communities face.
