About Your Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Junior Account Executive to support our business development efforts with a focus on oil and gas and other corporate clients. In this part-time contract role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our client base by developing new opportunities, building meaningful relationships, and promoting our training programs to industry leaders. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys making new connections, and is comfortable with both cold and warm outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Development: Identify, connect with, and develop relationships with oil and gas companies and other corporate clients to grow our customer base.
- Outreach and Sales: Conduct cold and warm outreach through email, phone, and in-person or virtual meetings to establish and nurture new connections.
- Account Management: Support smaller accounts and ensure client satisfaction by understanding their needs and aligning them with our training solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider team to align efforts and drive results.
- Market Research: Research industry trends, identify target companies, and tailor strategies to meet their training needs.
- Event Representation: Represent NRTG at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our programs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of activities, progress, and client interactions in the CRM system.
Requirements and Skills:
- Strong interest in sales and business development.
- Results-driven with excellent people skills and the ability to mirror approach to clientele.
- Comfortable conducting both cold and warm outreach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and CRM tools.
- Familiarity with the oil and gas industry or corporate training programs is a strong asset.

- $28 per hour plus commission
- Location and schedule flexibility – we are a fully remote business and have a short window for “core hours” which empowers employees to build their schedule around their personal needs.
