Main Page

The main page of the instructor dashboard holds some general information about your assigned courses, links to instructor forms, and instructor resources.

Assigned Courses

At the top of the page there is a table that contains information about your assigned courses. It contains:

  • Course Name: The course name and a link to the course event page
  • Course Dates: The dates the course takes place
  • Locations: The assigned location of the course
  • Registrants: The names of each registrant and a link to open an email to message each or all registrant
  • Instructors: The assigned instructors

Instructor Forms

Here you will be able to access the different instructor forms where you can add new entries or edit previous entries.

  • Individual Instructor Checklist
    • This form contains a checklist that should be completed for each course. There are actions that should be completed before, during and after the course is complete.
    • Once you create a checklist for a course you should submit it and then edit it later under the previous submissions heading.
  • Multiple Instructors Checklist
    • This form contains a checklist that should be completed for each course. There are actions that should be completed before, during and after the course is complete.
    • Once you create a checklist for a course you should submit it and then edit it later under the previous submissions heading.
    • Forms entries submitted on this form can be accessed and edited by all instructors that have been assigned to the course. Only one entry should be created for a single course and shared between all instructors.
  • Student Grades/Comments
    • This form should be used for instructors to submit comments, grades, attendance for registrants/students in a specific course.
    • All instructors assigned to the course can edit another instructor’s submission in the previous submission section.
    • Only one submission should be submitted for each course, multiple students can be added to a single submission.
  • Course Comments
    • This form can be used to submit comments about a specific course to the NRTG staff or as notes to future instructors.
    • It is a simple form and only one submission per course should be submitted. Multiple comments can be added to a single submission

Instructor Resources

Here you will find different documents and resources that will be relevant to instructors. Navigate through the tabs to find resources that may be relevant to you.

Previous Submissions

The use of the forms should be pretty straight forward when first creating a new entry. Some complexity may arise when you need to edit a previous submission. For the most part there should only ever be a single entry per course per submission.

When you go to a form page at the bottom of the page you will see a heading called “Previous Submissions” these are your previous submissions to the form or submissions from other instructors that are assigned to the same course/cohort.

Click the “Edit” link to edit a previous submission, after you have completed the changes required, you need to click the “Update” button at the bottom of the form.
