About Your Role:

As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial activities and strategies.
You will be responsible for leading a small team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing
budgets, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior leadership.

Requirements and skills:

  • Supervise and mentor the Finance Team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment and providing team leadership.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance the team’s skills and knowledge.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting revenue and expenses, and monitor performance against budgetary targets. Implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Identify and assess financial risks, implementing effective risk management strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates and market conditions that may impact the company and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial standards and oversee the preparation of financial statements and tax filings.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Finance or Accounting, combined with your CPA designation is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience post-designation, preferably with combined industry and audit experience.
  • Experience working in a cost-recovery organization.
  • Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks, MS Office (Word and Excel).
