The two-day, fully-online Ichthyology course provides a comprehensive overview of fish phylogeny, ecology, and physiology.

The two-day, fully-online Ichthyology course provides a comprehensive overview of fish phylogeny, ecology, and physiology. We will review in detail the characteristics that distinguish major extant groups of fishes. We will explore, compare, and contrast fish anatomy (internal and external), physiology (skeletal and muscle system, respiration, buoyancy, digestive, circulatory and reproductive systems, electro-, chemo- and mechanoreception, vision, and osmoregulation) and ecology (feeding, diet, growth, breeding, migration, and environmental adaptations). Participants will develop the foundation for studying and managing fisheries and evaluating biological requirements for fish habitat restoration projects.

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
