From mastering common site isolation techniques to delving into real-world examples, you’ll learn how to assess the effectiveness of sediment and erosion controls with precision. We emphasize hands-on learning, guiding you through the documentation of site conditions and equipping you with the skills to craft thorough inspection reports. By the end of the session, you’ll be adept at evaluating, implementing, and enhancing erosion and sediment control measures, ensuring environmental compliance and sustainable construction practices every step of the way.

Instructor Profile 

Maggie Pugh

Maggie is an ecologist with nearly 20 years specializing in analyzing and interpreting ecosystems and wildlife habitats. Her breadth of knowledge of the construction monitoring industry includes an in-depth understanding of considerations for both aquatic and terrestrial habitats in both urban centres and remote northern settings. Maggie’s expertise spans a variety of project types including linear infrastructure, land development, and culvert and bridge replacement works.
